OUR HISTORY
CAFÉ Y RESTAURANTE MIRANDA
Opens its doors on August 11, 2001. Located in
the main Casco of Finca Miranda in the San Salvador Volcano (Quezaltepec) is a
restaurant that offers visitors a rustic setting, delicious food and
breathtaking views and landscapes. From Café Miranda can be seen the
historic Guazapa Volcano, the Cerron Grande and in a full sunny day the
Guatemalan hills and volcanoes, Antigua Guatemala and the mountains of
Honduras.
Enjoy the secrets that give life in the
original rustic style, visiting the restaurant, the coffee museum where
the machines of the first coffee mill in El Salvador are exhibited, the
nursery, walking in its gardens, watching the old kitchen and ovens where the “Chengas”
were prepared and admiring the structures that have
remained almost intact since the late 1800's.
